The Polarmoist sensor uses near-infrared light to measure the surface moisture of the material.

Polarmoist measures the surface moisture of aggregates and is the only sensor that can measure aggregates of over 1/2″ or 10 mm.  It communicates with a control system which corrects the dry material target weights to give constant yield, colour/texture and workability, as well as strength and durability.  For more general information on moisture measurement, see our range of Moisture Sensors.
